I’m so glad you’re here! Everyone needs to eat to live. But wow there is A LOT of nutrition information (and misinformation) out there!
Every week there is a new diet or health claim. You know the “don’t eat after 7pm”, “fruit is too high in sugar”, “carbohydrates make me gain weight”, etc. These make it hard to know what to eat!
I’ll challenge you to forget those “They say I should not eat…” myths and find the foods and drinks to feel your best and that you love!
No recommendations forcing you to “finish all your vegetables” here. Although we will talk about the importance of eating enough fruits and vegetables every day, in a way you can enjoy!
On that note, you won’t find food rules with me like “cut out all sugar”, “don’t eat birthday cake” or “never drink a glass of wine”.
Sound good?!
Then stick with me for simple, realistic, nutrition recommendations supported by research and easy to use everyday. I do focus on nutrition education, but we can’t ignore physical activity and stress management for feeling overall wellbeing!
For those interested I have my Masters in Health Promotion, and am a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, completing a 1200-hour internship and passing the Dietitian registration exam.
In a constantly changing field, I believe everyone can do things to improve their health (me included!). I’m passionate to share my knowledge and experience for a healthier community.
